Specific cost modelling for secondary treatment of wastewater

The article is devoted to the study of model cost indicators wastewater treatment facilities as one factors for ensuring sustainable development. It noted that greatest contribution in terms formation provided by stage biological treatment. As part study, a techno-economic simulation was conducted compare two technological schemes: conventional activated sludge scheme aeration reactor and secondary settling tank, means membrane bioreactors. In course modeling, concentrations pollutants after were obtained compared each schemes, well values possible harm water bodies calculated. Within framework capital operating costs variants, key differences their analyzed. classical cleaning requires construction larger volume structures, while schemes with bioreactor, significant item purchase actual modules, but system performance increases, share these decreases.
